17th - 19th: York Branch 35th Anniversary Weekend
Come along and join our celebrations to be held at the PARK INN RADISSON HOTEL NORTH ST YORK YO1 6JF. The hotel is central to all the attractions and is close to the river. Car park £6 per night.
Weekend prices are all inclusive of B & B, plus Friday evening buffet & entertainment, Saturday night dinner. Twin room £150 per person. Double with single occupancy £240, Single economy £220. Minster Service on Saturday am. All Branch Standards welcomed. See October Wren magazine or contact HQ.

24th - 28th: 70th anniversary & final commemoration Battle of the Atlantic Liverpool
70th anniversary and final National Commemoration of the Battle of the Atlantic
To be held on May 24-28, 2013. This will include visits to the 25 ships taking part, the Commemorative service at Liverpool Cathedral on May 26, and a veterans’ parade led by the Band of the Royal Marines and HMS Eaglet guards. RM Band concerts will be held at the Philharmonic Hall on May 25 and with a ‘40s theme at St George’s Hall, May 27.
There will also be a performance of Meet Our Wren
previously (Jan 27th 2013) at merseyside Maritime museum
