Field of Remembrance  on Thursday with HRH Prince Harry at Westminster Abbey

Cenotaph Parade Sunday - Chairman Carol Gibbon was invited to lay the Naval Services wreath in this the centenary year of the formation of the WRNS.

An AOW contingent of 150 members took part with WO1 Barbara McGregor RN leading the Parade assisted by WO1 Annette Penfold RNR & CPO Ann Miller-McCarthy at the rear. WWII Veteran, Jean Farguson aged 91 years was thrilled to take part for the first time.

Throughout the UK and overseas Remembrance wreaths were laid, many with the AOW insert, or the WRNS100 insert, plus some with a WRNS100 tallyband (an idea from Catherine Davies, Alnwick)  and supported with great enthusiasm.
